Shipboard Training:
The project manager presents the new
operations manual aboard the vessel or in a classroom setting.
Emergency Response Drills & Training:
The project manager reviews emergency
response procedures and performs all drills aboard the vessel.
Yacht Specific Training Program:
Vessels that experience regular turnover such as, Seasonal Passenger
Vessels, Charter, and Research Vessels can benefit from programs that
specifically communicate operations, safety, legal and regulatory
requirements specific to the vessel. The training program is generally
designed as a multi-media tool that new crewmembers can view via computer or
DVD.
Expedition Planning:
Whether planning an extended cruise,
expedition requiring special equipment, or considering new cruising grounds
to expand a charter company's base of operation, Yacht Sourcing will
generate projected costs, manning requirements, and course planning
programs. Also schedule a Relief Captain or 2nd Captain for watch-standing &
Local Knowledge, particularly for those vessels operating in unfamiliar
water such as SE Alaska.
Expedition Documentation:
Whether you're planning a special vacation or expedition, Yacht Sourcing can
document the trip with high definition photography and documentation. Yacht
Sourcing works with professional photographers of the highest level of
expertise, for above & below water photography.
Relief Captain :
Yacht Sourcing supplies captains that are highly experienced in operating
both mega-yachts and charter-vessels, both power or sail. Note: Yacht
Sourcing's Captains do not accept replacement positions without first
obtaining authorization from the existing Captain.
Vessel Deliveries:
Yacht Sourcing has access to some of the most experienced delivery captains
for east & west coast deliveries, including Mediterranean deliveries.
Project Manager:
Yacht Sourcing has Captains available on east & west coasts that are
experienced in yacht maintenance, major refits and new construction. Often,
the only time Captain's are able to take time off is during yard periods.
Yacht Sourcing will work as project manager and ensure that the Yacht
Owner's interests are protected and projects are performed according to the
vessel's intended project scope.
Outfitting & Provisioning:
Yacht Sourcing works closely with
Yacht Outfitting and Provisioning companies for support worldwide.
Outfitting companies such as ABS Yacht Outfitting, specialize in post
new-construction yachts. Provisioning companies will consolidate shipments,
and schedule delivery of all provisions including parts, filters and fuel
delivery scheduling.
